Our program consists of a 6-month residency commitment. During the first two months the resident is expected to participate in Bible studies, is given Christian book reading assignments followed by book reports and evaluations of the reading material and how it affects their healing process. The second two months is comprised of acquiring job skills and/or actively seeking employment. The final two months they are to be employed and actively saving money to allow them to become self-sufficient, active members of their community.
At Kathy's House women & children learn:
To heal their emotional wounds...To live a fulfilling life, without dependence on drugs or alcohol...To make wiser choices...To budget their money...To become better parents and/or children through education...To work with computers, develop job skills, improve their study habits...To grow spiritually, reading the Bible, and attending church.
There is no charge for our services. Jesus said "Freely you have received, freely give."
Requirements for Residency
1. Clean and sober for a minimum of 60 days.
2. Willing to obey all rules and those in authority.
