Kathy's House is a non-profit charitable organization which is founded on Christian principles. Its purpose is to provide shelter and other needs to women and children in crisis. We help women and children who are victims of domestic violence or struggle with substance abuse. We fill the gap between short term housing and permanent housing for families in distress. Our program ranges from a 90 to 180 day stay.
"A ministry committed to loving and sheltering women & children who are in crisis; providing them with free lodging, meals, and counseling in a clean, safe environment. Women will get more than a home. They will get tools for self-esteem, love, the Word of God, job skills, and hope for a better future."
The cornerstone belief of the Kathy's House Staff is the value of a person. Compassion and love to all who enter its doors is commanded by God:
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another as I have loved you... By this all will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
- John 13:34-35... for this is the house that God built.
