Named after Kathy Stirling, a resident of Capistrano Beach, wife and mother of 3 girls and missionary to Romania, who died at age 41. Kathy's love and compassion for needy women spurred us on to offer the same support in a structured residential environment. She is our inspiration for meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women in crisis.
Kathy's House was incorporated in 1997 as a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. The board of directors is comprised of community leaders, business and professional people. They volunteer their services and serve without renumeration.
The staff of Kathy's House regard every woman and every little child as precious and belive they are given to us to care for as a trust from God. Kathy's House is not affiliated with any church. It is non-denominational in its religious teachings.
